Build / Think / Train is a framework I use to connect work, curiosity and physical practice. Each part gives the others something useful.
Building brings an idea into contact with reality. Thinking helps me notice whether it is the right idea, what I am assuming and which decision matters. Training gives the physical part of the day a deliberate place.
Strength training, running and Thai boxing do that in different ways. I like the repetition, the feedback and the need to show up. There is usually a next rep, a next round or a next session. The work is concrete.
I am open about ADHD. Structure helps me give attention somewhere useful to go. But I do not want every part of life to become another dashboard. A system that requires more attention than it returns has missed the point.
That is a tension I keep working with. I enjoy tools, frameworks and improving how things run. I also need to notice when improving the system has become easier than making the decision it was meant to support.
Clarity over chaos is the direction. It can mean choosing one important piece of work, leaving an idea alone for a while or making room for people and experiences that do not need a productivity argument.
The framework is personal. I do not expect everyone to use the same one. Its value is whether it helps me see the whole picture and make choices that fit the life I actually want.
For me, progress needs that wider view. Work is important, but it lives alongside relationships, curiosity, physical capacity and time. I want the structure to support those things together.
What does your own system need to make more room for?
